Warmer Weather Fur Styles For Spring
Posted on by Flemington Furs

You can still enjoy your fur when the weather starts to warm up by swapping your long winter fur for a lighter one. Here are some of our favorite fur styles that you can still wear well into spring!

Fur Vest
Fur vests exploded in popularity this past fall and winter, and proved a great investment since it was unseasonably warmer on the East Coast all season long. You don’t have to bring your vest in for storage just yet though! For day, pair it with a lightly colored blouse or fun tank top and skinny jeans with an open toe wedge. For night, pair it with a fitted dress and pumps. You don’t want to wear anything bulky underneath; your outfit should be all about balance. Think of it more as a beautiful, coveted accessory rather than a coat this spring.

If you don’t have a fur vest but love the style, you can always have your coat remodeled.  In fact, restyles and remodels are things we specialize in! Work is carefully done in a smart, cost-effective manner. You’ll be amazed at the options you have. When it comes to fur, there’s nothing we can’t handle.

Fur Cape
A fur cape is a great alternative to a light jacket. We have seen many women sport a fur cape well into May on cooler spring days. Broadtail lamb, sable, and mink all have a lightweight feel, and will keep you comfortable without breaking a sweat. Spice up your cape with skinny jeans or a pencil skirt and accessorize with either a great statement necklace or fun pair of heels.

Fur Trim
Who says you can’t wear fur all year long? A little fur can go a long way! A lighter color fur trim goes great with pastels as you can see from FurInsider’s Paris Fall 2012 Winter 2013 Trend report. If you have some fabulous fur trim that you’d like to incorporate into your spring wardrobe, just bring it in and we will take care of it for you!
